Hosting a Card-Making Event

Card making events are a great way to have fun and give back at the same time. The nice thing about hosting your own card making event is that you are entirely in control; the event can be as big or small as you wish.

Elementary, middle and high schools, Girl Scout and Boy Scout troops, sororities and fraternities, companies, community organizations, sports teams, extra-curricular school groups and church groups among others are some of the many individuals and groups that have made a difference in the lives of sick children by hosting their own CFHK card-making event .

If you wish to host your own event, there are a couple things you need to plan.  The checklist of things you need to plan can be downloaded below.

If you would like any supportive materials for your event, such as a CFHK fact sheet, photos of card-receiving kids, media videos or articles on CFHK, etc., please contact us.

You are welcome to use the CFHK Logo in advertisement of your event.

Since the onset of the pandemic, some schools and companies have opted to host virtual card-making events over "Zoom". After the virtual event, they then typically either send the cards in to CFHK individually or together in one shipment.

After the event, you can mail the cards to us and we will distribute them to kids at hospitals. We will also send you a thank you note, which will let you know which hospitals the cards went to.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
