Q: What is CFHK's EIN/Tax ID?
A: CFHK's Tax ID is 92-192-7887.

Q: Can I donate to CFHK?
A: Absolutely, financial donations support CFHK's efforts spreading hope, joy & magic to hospitalized kids. Donations can be made electronically on our donate page or via check and mailed to: Cards for Hospitalized Kids, 7290 W Devon Ave, Chicago, IL 60631. The CFHK team will send you a thank-you letter and receipt.

Q: Does CFHK accept cards year-round?
A: Yes, we do.

Q: Do I need to live in the US to make cards?
A: Everyone is welcome to make cards regardless of location. We regularly receive cards from abroad including France, Canada, Australia, and more.

Q: How often can I send cards?
A: Cards can be sent in as often as you'd like. We distribute general cards monthly as well as holiday cards for all major holidays.

Q: I live in the area, can I drop off cards instead of mailing them?
A: Yes, you can drop off cards Monday - Friday during business hours.

Q: Can I send the cards together in one large envelope or package rather than individual envelopes?
A: Absolutely, receiving cards together in one envelope / package is preferred as it makes the sorting process easier for the CFHK team.

Q: Does CFHK need cards in Spanish, as well?
A: Yes! We definitely need cards written in Spanish.

Q: What is the deadline for sending holiday cards?
A: We prefer to receive them at least 2 weeks prior to the holiday to ensure enough distribution time. However, we can accept cards up until 7 days before the holiday.
Any cards that do not arrive in time are saved for the following year.

Q: Can we write "Merry Christmas" on holiday cards?
A: Yes. We also recommend making a few cards that simply say "Happy Holidays" or "Happy Hanukkah" for kids that don't celebrate Christmas.

Q: What hospitals are the cards distributed to?
A: Cards are not given to a single hospital. We give cards to Children's Hospitals in all 50 states as well as Ronald McDonald Houses (RMH).

A:  Cards for Hospitalized Kids, 7290 W. Devon Ave., Chicago, IL 60631
